Simply create an appointment that suits your customer's availability and then dispatch to one or more technicians or sub-contractors using custom region and trade based assignment in calendar or quick scheduling modes.
Field technicians will be notified in real time of any new or updated appointments and can action them immediately or when scheduled to. If it was assigned to the wrong person, it can simply be reassigned in-field.
When a technician is ready to begin they tap 'Drive to site' for turn-by-turn directions, 'Start work' when they are on site, and 'End work' when they've finished. All changes are visible on the desktop interface in real time.
As good as modern mobile coverage is, unfortunately we all still need to contend with bad reception. Loc8 mobile will download all the customer, asset, and task data required to complete a job when there’s no reception.
Loc8 will switch automatically and transparently to offline mode, and record all changes and work performed locally and then synchronise all those changes back to the server when connectivity returns.
